R & M were such a joy to photograph and spend the afternoon with along with their friends and families (some of which have travelled a long way to get to Ottawa). The whole day was filled with love and some more love!

The ceremony and reception were held at 50 Sussex, which is the home of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and has stunning views of the Ottawa River, Gatineau Hills and Rideau Falls. Pretty unique event space in our capital and my first time photographing there.

The venue is also super close to the Minto Bridge, which was the requested location for portraits. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm rolled in as we began and only got a few group shots in. So we had to continue on the balcony at 50 Sussex, which was luckily covered. As you can see we got a pretty dramatic background, but R & M just rolled with it and loved every minute.

We did get lucky with Mother Nature after dinner and R& M were up for going back to the bridge and get those beautiful sunset photos! What a gorgeous couple!

R & M, thank you so much for having me be a part of your beautiful wedding and for being so flexible, genuine and fun. I don't think it could have gone any better!
