July 22nd was a gorgeous day in Kingston, ON. And not only weather-wise, but also because Claira and Patrick tied the sweetest knot in their relationship.
I met these two in 2016 and we did their engagement photos a year ago now (you can see them here) and at that time it seemed like the wedding day was so far away. But like everything in life it came at us with full speed and everyone had a grand time.
The girls were getting ready at Claira's family home, which is beautiful and served us well as a backdrop for some bridesmaid and family photos. The ceremony took place at the First Baptist Church in downtown with the minister coming from Ottawa from Patrick's family church. Then we drove out to the Royal Military College of Canada and roamed the vast property along the St. Lawrence River for more fun photos with the whole bridal party. I must say for such a big group they were incredibly easy to work with and full of ideas. 🙂 And we finished the day with the reception at one of the mess halls on campus with lovely dinner, humorous stories from the parents and the bridal party and of course, first dances.
Without further delay, please enjoy some of my favourite photos! And thank you to Claira and Patrick for including us in your day!
